**9/10** Absolutely hilarious from beginning to end. The game perfectly captures South Park’s humor and genuinely had me laughing at how ridiculous some of the quests and situations get. The combat is simple but fun, exploring the town is great, and there are jokes and references everywhere. My only real complaint is that I wish it was longer. One of the funniest games I’ve played and easily one of the best TV show adaptations out there.

This is a great game set in the South Park universe. I loved the turn-based combat with its unique attacks and enemies. Never would I have dreamed of circumcising Mongolian riders as a Jewish child in a video game. The Story is as unhinged as you would expect, but still very enjoyable. It feels a bit like the pretend games i played as kid, just with more swearing, gore and ridiculousness. Good times!

El mejor juego que se ha hecho sobre la franquicia. Obsidian logró calcar el estilo visual de la serie y le sumó mecánicas de rol por turnos que de verdad funcionan. Cero relleno, puras risas, referencias clásicas por todos lados y una historia que escala a niveles absurdos. Una joya total.

This game is great for both fans of South Park and JRPGs, it feels literally like episode of show in game form with how world was seamlessly transferred in another media and how authentic every bit of it. But besides that, gameplay is simply good - exploration, lvling, quests, gearing - everything. Starting with how it fares as JRPG - you got party, but on overworld map travel alone, only using companions in combat. Battles are ofc turn based with multiple possible actions - using items, skills, simple attacks, specials… Companions you can recruit are regulars of South Park each with their unique combination of skills that is cleverly derived from whatever jokes, racial stereotypes or dark satire authors could come up with. Number of stuff that is found on world map is mish mash from various plots from different seasons that are somehow put together into somewhat comprehensive general plot, though ofc it’s following vibe of media it was birthed by, so they are strung together by very, very thin line. Instead of specific traversal skills of your party members like in some rpgs, you receive new exploration skills via main storyline with time. There are also collectibles and few achievements that are easily missed by passing by sometimes very well hidden things, and considering that a bunch of places become inaccessible after leaving or change, introducing new events and stuff one has to be very careful, or risk need to start again. Visuals are literally how South Park looks in later seasons, perfectly keeping design direction without distorting anything by unnecessary intrusion. To those who are unfamiliar with that style - kinda like paper cutout figures and backgrounds with sometimes simplistic animations, sometimes not. Audio is same as graphics - copy of show sounds and music, which serves as perfect match for general atmosphere and feel, though ofc question of them being to your liking is open, it is.. somewhat peculiar. Plot follows main crew starting fantasy game with sword and magic inclusion into regular town life. So among enemies you’re equally likely to meet elves, orcs, homeless, highschoolers, nazis, aliens.. And while you’re perfectly fine fighting make believe battles with your fellow role playing kids, hobos and such are real life threats who definitely don’t try to just play by rules with sticks and cardboard armour, so you gotta fight them kinda for real. Well, besides that main storyline there are lots and lots of side tales as mentioned before from a number of completely different episodes, following other events with mostly alien to your main setting feels, still it’s organically being made part of whole with South Park style.

The concept and the story felt as if they were meant to be a teaser for the show, while also working well for those already familiar with South Park's humor. It's a funny game, and since most video games are pretty generic (dull plot twist, save the world, zero to hero yadda yadda yadda), you'll probably enjoy this game far more if you're looking for something fresh and unique. 10/8.5 There could have been more mini quests. The combat system isn't versatile. Even though you have several options for a build, the fights can still feel repetitive. Fart magic is over complicated. Should be one button and used less for puzzles. Boss fights feel too long if you are sure you win.
