I loved this game in the past and cannot recommend it. Plenty of other reviews highlight the major issues. Very predatory pricing model, poor endgame performance, and too much of a rush to push out new dlc instead of refining how old ones work together. I feel for the devs, as a decent amount of this is likely not something they can control. If someone that is in charge of these decisions does end up reading this, I will NEVER consider spending any more money on any paradox game unless the following happens: 1. Stop attaching game content to DLC. Cosmetic options are fine and I gladly support future development by buying such DLC in other games. A good example is deep rock galactic. Make all game altering content (including existing DLCs) provided with the base game. Treat your customers right and let that good faith reputation attract new audiences and further support from older players. 2. Stop using gen AI to create the game. It is theft and reduces the quality of the work that has been put into it. 3. Show actual performance increases for general play that are not just reductions of numbers. Factorio is a shockingly well optimized game, it can be done for Stellaris as well. I really do miss this game but don't think the path it is on will ever allow me to enjoy it again. : ( (edited to fix text formatting)

I love this game. I love Si-fi. I love RTS'. I love this mod scene. I love it all... But Paradox deserves NOTHING! Why? because they will do AT LEAST one of the following: 1. They will inevitably rework features into more complex, less casual mechanics. 2. They will release DLC after DLC well before they patch the bugs they create. 3. They will make a sequel one day and there is no guarantee it will include everything the predecessor did. Support Paradox at your own financial risk!

Fast-forward to the late game, and my galaxy has turned into a terrifying, multi-front war zone of absolute cosmic proportions as a simultaneous triple-25x strength Endgame Crisis systematically tears the universe apart.Here is how my current quarterly report looks:The Galactic Meat Grinder: The scale of this war is hard to overstate. Entire stellar clusters are being swallowed whole. The alien bug swarm (the Scourge) has already completely liquidated two rival civilizations. Millions of fleet power are colliding in deep space, and the galaxy is cannibalizing itself outside my borders.The Brutal Siege of Earth: At the absolute center of this apocalyptic theater sits the Sol system—home of my longest-standing trade partner. The Scourge targeted Earth with a cataclysmic orbital bombardment, vaporizing 7,000 human civilians in the high skies before unleashing a massive biological landing force. They expected a quick harvest, but instead triggered a horrific, three-year planetary ground war. They ran face-first into an elite, 26k-power veteran corporate garrison I literally forgot to move off Earth centuries ago because the transport fees were too expensive. In a spineless PR move, they tried to stage a comeback, only for a 4-million-power Scourge fleet to bypass their lines and lay siege directly to the Malta capital. The "shield of the galaxy" was reduced to hiding in their own caves, entirely dependent on my Gene Warriors dropping from the sky to save their species from extinction.Asymmetric Shadow Warfare: While my ground forces hold the bugs by the throat, I used a massive alloy stockpile to print fleets of cloaked stealth frigates. Armed with devastator torpedoes, they bypass the crisis weapon screens entirely, uncloaking directly on top of isolated 4-million-power Scourge armadas to vaporize them from the shadows. I also world-cracked the final robot Contingency hub with a Colossus, driving the machine crisis to total extinction.The Hostile Takeover: The Malta capital is a blockaded wreck, their economy is ruined, and my corporate empire is entering a post-scarcity golden age. There are exactly 750 days left on a Senate commerce bill that will balloon my corporate diplomatic weight. The exact day it passes, I am launching a Vote of No Confidence to forcefully evict the Malta and legally buy out the remainder of the universe.Come for the grand strategy, stay for the absolute financial, military, and biological absurdity.

Buen juego, complicado de entender al principio si no es vuestro estilo , puede meterles cientos o miles de horas y seguir divirtiéndote Lo malo? Si te gustan los mods , se van a romper constantemente debido a las actualizaciones constantes que hay , y lo peor , lo que realmente hace que ponga una reseña negativa , los dlc Todos son maravillosos , añaden cosas más o menos divertidas , pero todos son buenos en general ¿Entonces que es lo malo? Abusan , abusan mucho de la cantidad de dlc y sobre todo de los precios , hay muchos que los deberían de meter como actualizaciones gratuitas , no digo todos , obvio , pero si unos cuantos , y los precios de estos siguen siendo abusivos por el contenido que ofrecen , no son malos , repito , pero abusan con los precios.

Paradox's dlc policy has gotten worse and now I have to take a stand. I'm not buying Paradox dlc unless they go on a massive discount, and I will not recommend any of their games.
