Pay no attention to my playtime (0 hours as of typing), as I have put MANY hours into this on the 360 back in the day. I have simply booted the game to test the controls and can confirm that this port is fantastic. I have been waiting for it to come to PC for years, and couldn't be more excited that it finally has. Ska Studios has been one of my favorite indie devs since their silly zombies game on 360. I have completed this game 100% on 360, and trust me, when I get the time to spare, I will be doing the same on PC. If you like hack'n'slash, beat'em-up, gory games, this one is perfect. Very brutal, art and soundtrack are amazing, just pick it up. You won't regret it.

Something of a small action masterpiece. The gameplay is super fast but somehow I never lost track of where I was, and while it's a little disappointing the story and stage progression is largely unchanged between the characters, the main weapons of each one were different enough to make at least two playthroughs worth it. The visuals look like a 90s comic book like the Crow mixed with something like Invader Zim and the excellent music echoes the new wave alt gothic vibe. There are guitar soloes you can perform in the middle of stages that are really awesome to listen to on their own, with it being more poppy and relaxed than the hyper aggressive music of the regular play. It all coalesces with the gameplay into a fantastic combat engine that's aged really well; I only just played this game for the first time, 15 years after release, and I had a complete blast. It's brutal and super edgy, but it just works.

sinceramente, QUE JOGO SENSACIONAL, comprei ele em 2021 para o pc, e no xbox 360 na época , nostalgico ate dms, infelizmente ele não tem continuação, joguei o dead samurai (sonho pra esse jogo vim pro pc) no 360 em 2013, quando joguei ele na época, fiquei alucinado por games assim, quando estava passeando pela a steam vi ele não pensei duas vezes, comprei ele e o charlie murder (outra game otimo que recomendo jogar, ainda mais se tiver amigos para jogar), compensa o dinheiro e a diversão que você vai ter, infelizmente o jogo e curto, só que vale a experiência.

This game is fun. It's a 2D character action game with good music and a lot of charm. I like Ska Studios now.

good fun short hack and slash/metroidvania. Combo potential is great and very enjoyable, wouldnt say the game is very hard though its easy to predict enemy moves. Has a lot of replay value with difficulty, coop, etc. Good fun time, worth the money imo. 9/10

It's a short but very fun 2d action game. Responsive combat, great soundtrack, solid enemy design, all killer no filler, lots of blood. It's exactly as advertised. Is fun to play in multiplayer as well. Also a fantastic steam deck game. There is one downside with the game is that it does not upscale properly past 1080p. The game seems to have not been made with vector assets, so past 1080p, HUD elements shrink, and there can be issues with camera positioning and lighting effects. I am a bit more lenient with this because this is an indie game from 2011, and the game still does look very good at 1080p resolution. But figured I would bring it up.
