This was a surprisingly incredible trilogy! I really enjoyed its writing and humor, and it feels very approachable in regard to the greater pool of mystery solving games, I believe everyone should play these!

Frog Detective 3 is fine. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I played it directly after the last two games, but because it's been 5 years or something, none of the sentimental stuff at the end really hits for me because I don't remember any of the characters. As a game on its own, it's just like the previous two - you walk around a cheerful little scene talking to people and doing fetch quests for them, the end. There isn't much serious detectiving, but it's colorful and cute and a decent enough way to spend an hour or two. Perhaps best enjoyed with kids.

Propably the longest one out of the 3 games. Still its a new unique story and it was nice to just play something different, easy and straight forward.

三部曲就这样完结了还有点舍不得🥲感觉体量和剧情一部比一部丰富！第三部的好多转折真的又突然又好笑的，I m the new NO.1 BEST DETETIVE!!!!! 是很轻松欢快剧情向的小品游戏！虽然没有中文但是里面的英语也不是很难，如果你也是奇怪又有趣的人相信你一定能和这个游戏同频并get到游戏里的笑点哈哈哈！真的非常值得一玩！！三部打折下来也不是很贵！ 以及这部也是和chicory联动上了（隔壁则是青蛙侦探躺在瀑布下）虽然但是颜色哪里weird哪里messy了?!明明还是挺好看的😤

I'd give this a mid rating if I could, the price is fine for the latter two games in my currency, probably not worth it in american bucks. The first two game store pages point out that they are short, but the first title was really pushing it for me. You can buy them in a pack at a discount and I don't see why you'd ever buy just one of these, they are all very much connected in their narrative and don't really work when not played in sequence. It's more like one game, split into 3 episodes for no good reason, other than to have attractive 5$ price tag. The gameplay is a series of very kids friendly puzzle sequences, interviewing everyone in the area, grabbing a thing or two you find, then going through a chain of exchanging items with these characters, until you arrive at a location that reveals the explanation for the current chapter's mystery. Second game introduces a notebook item to better keep track of these item exchanges, the third one adds a scooter to drive through the town, as well as a short sequence where you throw powder around to reveal prints. It's not technically a walking sim, but it is as far from a challenging puzzle game as possible, as I mentioned - very child friendly, nothing wrong with that. Going back to length, the second and third cases are about an hour long, like advertized on the tin, the first one however is more like half an hour experience at best. I would not recommend the first one at all, not only because it's short but because all the environments and even puzzle chains are all of less quality than the later two games. It's a linear story however so it's still best to play all 3. While the stories behind the mysteries are rather silly and simple, the actual dialogue I found to be quite fun. It had some neat word play at times, decent humor too, in different styles - awkward, self aware, naturalistic and a few times even low-key morbid. Sound wasn't impressive, the music isn't grating, even in the first one where variety suffered. The sound effects are a bit sparse, but also nothing badly mixed in its volume. No voice acting, but I don't find that to be a negative, especially since the cartoon characters could've sounded obnoxious, and thus ruining some of the good jokes. In the last game the ending track had vocals, I think that was the only exception afair. Visuals are simple and charming, once again, the first game had a much worse presentation than the next two. While the models are low poly, with solid color textures for the most part, the animations were surprisingly smooth, I think they might've been mo-capped store assets for things like walk cycles or all the different dances at the end of each chapter. If I'm wrong here then I am actually curious if they were made by hand, because that would be pretty impressive for that cheap of a game. So yeah, if you want a game for your kids, I think this is pretty good for them, plus you can have some chuckles while reading the dialogues for your child. I don't think I'd really recommend it to anyone else though, cozyslop audience is an obnoxious crowd, so I'd rather they stay away from this, but I bet quite a few found their way here.

I like this game, it was fun! I do think, however, it was a bit too short and I was disappointed by how little the scooter was used. I would have liked there to be more challenge there, or some skill to be built up at least, but I suppose this isn't really that sort of game. Personally I would have probably have rather watch someone else play this on youtube or something, as I would've gotten about the same level of enjoyment from watching rather than playing. The gameplay isn't that deep and the story too short for me to feel right about recommending but at the same time there was nothing Wrong with it so... it's a dilemma. There was a good plot twist moment though! And the characters were entertaining. Just wish there was more, basically.

This is certainly a sweet conclusion to the silly trilogy, the more expansive environment effectively let the formula shine and the way the story panned out felt suitable enough to land on it's feet in a feel-good way :) I found myself somewhat attached to the characters and the ending credits made me feel quite sentimental knowing their little quirks and what was in store for them :P These games aren't complex or thought-provoking but can be enjoyed at face value, while I understand some people have their preferences of difficulty I don't feel like it should harm your perception of a game if it doesn't meet that - these games offer a low commitment and low stress time that you can totally see through in an evening and I can say I enjoyed it :))
