作为我接触的第二部gears of war，本作没有在gunplay和掩体射击部分让人失望。每把枪都有比较明确的重量感和反馈，掩体系统也和近距离爆发式战斗结合得很好,所以本作战斗的核心循环依旧非常扎实：找掩体、压制、绕侧翼、近距离爆发，然后重复。 但是问题也出现了，因为游戏几乎没有提供足够有意义的东西去丰富这套玩法。本作中加入了雪地和沙漠环境的两个半开放区域，看起来像是在扩大系列的玩法尺度，实际上关卡设计依旧高度依赖“移动到下一个战斗场景 → 清理敌人 → 继续移动”的线性结构。开放区域缺少能够真正改变玩家行为的系统，支线设计和奖励极度匮乏，所以很多时候所谓的探索更像是在战斗关卡之间增加了一段开车时间。所以地图看起来更大了，但玩家agency并未增多。 剧情和叙事也是类似的问题，做的比较空。本作的演出效果很不错，或许是UE4表现力的巅峰了，并且游戏也在角色关系和世界观上塞了不少内容，但很多东西最终都没有转化成足够有力度的情绪或者主题表达。通过游戏后唯一给我留下记忆点的还是临近结尾的很令人不悦的队友二选一这种过时的桥段。 所以Gears 5总体给我的感觉其实是很矛盾的，作为一款掩体射击TPS，本作的机制和枪感打磨的其实非常成熟，在美术指导和画面表现上也无可挑剔，但是作为一款3A动作游戏其实在很多细节处理上都有种落后原始感。 8/10

Gostei muito desse gears eu jogo desde o xbox 360 essa franquia é uma das minhas favoritas, gostei dos personagens , da musica e da historia, tem muitos items para achar e modos de jogos legais. um otimo jogo. terminei o jogo em co op foi divertido , muita ação e alguns bugs mas terminamos foi bom.

Let me first say that this is one of my most beloved gaming franchises and I have been fan since the first game came out. So I finally tried Gears 5 to see if it's really "that bad" and I must say - it really is not. Yes, the main characters (Del and Kait) aren't the most interesting and I wish we could play as our old beloved characters from previous games, but that's about the only downside for me. I was pleasantly surprised that in the story there are plenty of throwbacks to older games, mainly Gears of War 2 and 3, that it extends the lore and answers some crucial questions like Locust origins for example. I also really like the semi-open world in Act 2 and 3 that actually allows you to explore and discover some cool locations/sidequests. Action itself is just excellent, just like in previous GoW games. Multiplayer part is a lots of fun, especially Horde and Escape mode since I prefer PvE. You can upgrade your class and unlock new things which is always welcome. Spend about 60h on these modes alone before I jumped into the campaign. Definitely a good game and a very decent sequel in my book. Solid ground for Gears of War 6. I recommend.

Pros: Graphics are great. A Gears game never looked so good. Gameplay it's really good, if you're looking for a Gears only for the multiplayer you're pretty much good to go. It runs perfectly, I had no problems with fps. Cons: It's one of those games that can't help but put problems from the real world in the story. Writing has some "Fascism", "Peaceful protests" and "This is not about you, it's about me!" moments. Characters are unlikeable as they were in Gears 4. Campaign is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I will just pretend Gears ended on 3. I really hope E-Day is better. PRAY

Классика Гирсов - жестокий, брутальный и мясной. Обязательно берите с другом, кайф на несколько вечеров. А потом можете попотеть и побомбить на хардкоре.)

I've waited because of the reviews and the game was a strong 8. Ran nicely, played SMOOTH, I loved the story, someone did an S-tier job with audio mixing, especially ambient weather. BUT, then during a very lengthy chapter, game crashes at a crucial cutscene (googled, it's apparently an old bug that happens to some and was never resolved). Was thinking, ok, I'll try again. For some reason my campaign now rolls back to the start of a LARGE area and it set me back hours. Ty Xbox/Coalition for making me loose half of my Saturday, I'm removing this abomination and removing the Gears E-Day from my wishlist. You lost yourself a Gears customer.

My thoughts on this game are pretty mixed. This was my first, and I think probably my last, experience with the Gears series. I played it solo and later went through the campaign with friends, but even then I couldn't really understand what the appeal of this game was supposed to be. Gameplay For the most part, I found it pretty boring. Maybe back in the mid-2000s, when the first games came out, this kind of gameplay was something new and impressive, but today it feels extremely outdated and clunky. The shooting in particular did absolutely nothing for me. It feels stiff and just... kind of lifeless. The weapon sounds aren't much better either, as they feel surprisingly flat. The movement and camera work also doesn't exactly make things better. And then there are the enemies, which are basically just damage sponges. The bosses are even worse. There aren't really any particularly interesting or memorable ones, but they can happily absorb several thousand rounds of ammunition before finally deciding to die. Technical Side Technically, things are much better. The game looks quite good, and in many moments it can even look genuinely cinematic. It's also very well optimized and runs nicely on a wide range of hardware. The fast loading times are another nice touch, and the cutscenes are well made too. You can definitely see that this game was designed as a big-budget blockbuster, and in that regard it delivers. Unfortunately, that's pretty much where the good things end. Everything else was quite questionable for me, and I never really managed to understand what was supposed to make this series so special. I would only recommend trying Gears 5 if you are really curious about it, preferably when the game is heavily discounted. And if you do play it, play it with friends. Playing solo carries a serious risk of simply dying from boredom.

Welp after finishing every single GoW game including this one, yea this game does has its fun but also stray abit from the OG games since it has those weird semi open world bit in the middle of the game, but yea its kinda cool to see, but idk why the story have to be revolve around Kait xD, but the core gameplay still somewhat feels like the OG games, the shooting , the guns and executions, so 6.5/10 I guess? And the dlc is kinda funny and fun to see other people perspective of this world too, its kinda cool but very short Recommend to buy it when it goes on sale not full priced tho, hehe
