Very poor DLC this. Some of the fights are genuinely fun, and the DLC does a good job of taking you through a variety of locations within a relatively short campaign. The levels are heavily dragged down, however, by the sheer amount of Juvies you fight. I have no idea why the game insists on constantly bombarding you with these enemies. They're everywhere, and they're simply not fun to fight. This DLC actually highlights one of the biggest problems I have with Gears 4 and 5: the enemy variety. When you're playing through a short campaign with almost constant combat, repeatedly throwing the same enemy types at you becomes incredibly noticeable. There's only so many times you can fight through another wave before it starts feeling repetitive. The characters just suck, I'm not even gonna bother saying why, just look at them. This crew couldn't even pass as dead npc's in any other game.

a bit better written then the base game, but boring af to play after finishing the og campaign that to the game's very poor enemy variety

It's super short and the campaign is just a set up for the multiplayer mode not worth playing, for 5 maybe 10 at most it's not so bad, a decent short dlc and a new co op mode, but for 20 full price it is not worth it.

the story is boring, dull, and poorly written. The characters are horrible and poorly written. Hoffman says they are the best of the best. best of what? an old man close to retirement complaining about his back, a whiny little ♥♥♥♥♥ delivery driver, and a Female lieutenant with a superiority complex. i got to act 3 and quit because the acts are so short and all i hear is the characters ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaining at each other the entire time. its like they tried to make it a comedy but without any actual humor. i lose my weapons so fast after getting them due to the game swapping weapons out each time a new act comes into play and forces me with crap i dont want to use. this entire DLC of what i did play just irritated the crap out of me the entire time i played it. all in all 1 out of 5 stars wouldnt recommend.

j'ai bien aimé, c'était plutôt rapide mais au moins on a pas le temps de s'ennuyer. C'est très très beau et l'histoire est plutôt cool, et ça fait toujours plaisir de revoir un certain personnage des 3 premiers jeux. Par contre, ENCORE UNE FOIS la fin est limite bâclée hein, je sais pas pourquoi ils font ça.

Gears 5 с нотками Uncharted, прошёл за один вечер, безумно понравилось. Дополнение примерно на 3-4 часа непрерывной стрельбы и экшен сцен, Coalition вложили бабки в каждую игровую минуту.

что ж хоть короткие за него мне три-четыре часа я прошёл максимально сложность невыносима хотите верьте хотите нет скриншот у меня имеется) прошёл одиночка сразу говорит только для настоящие мазохистом и извращенцем хардкоров интересно приключения и сюжетов и новых главных героев и всё такое перки отличные чем предыдущая) разработчики очень достойно сделаю купил за огромную скидку Давно хотел на него поиграть и мечта сбылась рекомендую вообще капли не пожалел теперь остаётся ждать Gears of War: E-Day))

Basically, the description already says it all: It's Gears 5 gameplay unchanged, just three to four hours more of it. Maybe the only thing worth mentioning is that the six chapters are all linear tube levels like in the beginning and end of the main game. If you particularly liked (or disliked) the semi-open-world leveldesign of Gears 5's middle part, just know that there is none of it here, so sort that out for you. Given the short length of the campaign, the full prize of 20 Euros might be a bit too steep as well and 5 bucks less may have done it, too, but wether linear and expensive or not, the lush jungle- and lava levels are pretty neat to look at in any case though. As for my part I was glad for three additional hours more of Gears 5 and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hivebusters campaign, so I'd say give it a go if you like Gears 5. _________________________________________________________________ GEARS 5 HIVEBUSTERS (DLC) Genre: Third-Person-Shooter Release: Q4 2020 ( ) 0/8 Simply one of the worst games ever made. Only for hardcore-fans of respective genre / series. Don't pay more than 5 bucks. ( ) 3/8 Meh-diocre. It‘s okay. Don't pay more than 10 bucks. ( ) 4/8 Decent, but not for everybody. Don't pay more than 15 bucks. ( ) 5/8 Good game, Must-play for genre- / series-fans. Worth 20 to 25 bucks max, if you are not a fan. (X) 6/8 Great game, universal recommendation. 30 bucks would be a steal for this. ( ) 7/8 Outstanding game, a milestone of it‘s respective genre. Definitely worth its full prize.
