Precuela ubicada 3 años antes del original conocemos más del pueblo, de Chloe y de su amistad con Rachel. Al ser un juego de decisiones siendo precuela muchas de estas decisiones a la final no tienen mucho impacto por lo que pasa después. Aún así es una oportunidad para conocer más de los personajes y de como son así después, la verdad es una buena experiencia y además este Remaster incluye el el episodio extra Farewell el cual era un dlc de pago en el original, un poco de fan service para conocer de Max y Chloe y vaya que estos juegos si que son depresivos.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a story get me this invested into the world and characters, and furthermore, this game (including life is strange 1) is just one of those games that gives me that gut punch feeling when thinking back on it. The art is amazing and charming even though the game deals with really heavy hitting topics, which I think it handles really well. Also it has peak yuri 999999/10 Would strange my life again o7

review with SPOILER if you are not finished DON'T READ After I finished this game, I regret that I let Chloe die for the greater good in the first game . I thought it was the true thing to do and its consequences of Chloe's reckless choices . I was really getting depressed while continuing the story; losing the places you trust/ feel accepted one by one, getting bullied where you try to improve yourself these are not simple things. When you really find someone thet ease your pain, you lost her to personal issues of hers. And when you thought you guys overcomed the issues and its finished first game come to the surface, and says "hello no happy endings" . [*]For those who like Chloe, its a gem game in LiS series. [*]We finally met famous Rachel here. Actually, she was way different than I thought. I was waiting for more Maxine like character. But she wasn't like innocent Doe instead she was one of the apex predators like Jefferson maybe? Ofcourse if we assume Jefferson was telling the true and they had an relationship , and there is the affair with the Frank, I think that must be about her mother. Overall I think she is a person that can use anybody in any terms in her adv. So definetly a predator like Jefferson but smaller." As we return to Chloe, although its just a game its a picture that everybody needs to learn from. If parent, teachers, classmates are not emotionally intellegent these are the results. Lost, no one trust, no one to talk without self-explanation... So on... maybe Chloe had new what she already have. Maybe she wasn't tossed around. Overall good drama game: solid 8/10

ᴧᴇᴄби, ᴧᴇᴄби и ᴧᴇᴄбиянᴋи СТОЛЬКО ЛЕСБИЯНОК Я НЕ ВИДЕЛ В ОДНОЙ ИГРЕ А вообще, норм игра, как приквел правда такой себе, выборы в игре не особо на что не влияют, даже финальный выбор просто пустышка, так как мы и так по первой части знаем, что Рейчел и Хлоя лучший друзьяшки и любящая парачка https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3787854199 Сама геймлплейная фишка с перематыванием времени тоже исчезла, заменив собой "перепалкой", когда Хлоя подбирая диалоги под ситуацию получает своё, типо пудинг Персы и диалоги... вот это подкачало, если первый эпизод я проходил, и наивно думал, что будет на уровне первой части... я ошибался. Диалоги здесь очень примитивные, как и персы, и вроде стало намного больше интеректива, но ведь без хорошо прописанных ситуаций и фраз на кой такое нужно, да никому. Сама ситуация, когда Хлоя и Рейчел познакомились друг с другом, сразу же стали лучшими подругами, при чём, даже Хлоя об этом нихрена не знала, лишь токо когда встретилась с самой Рейчел. И вот вся эта недопрописанность, такие себе диалоги, слабых персонажей говорит нам о том, что студия Deck Nine не особо способна совладать с великолепной студией Dot't Nod, которые являются мастерами своего дела, я обожаю Хлои из оригинала, Макс которая застенчивая, но если всё пойдёт под откос, она даже огрызнётся, обожаю сцену из 4 эпизода, когда парализованная Хлои просит избавит её от страданий, боже да я рыдал на этом моменте, а здесь, в приквеле, нету даже какой-то прям грустной сцены, которая бы хотя бы заставила меня бы хоть не много, но поёрзать. Разве что, финал 1 эпизода прям огонь, буквально) И подводя итог, это очень слабый спинноф, но который имеет свой вайб, постановка также хороша, актёры стараются изобразить эмоции, да и музыка очень даже приятная, и теперь, смотря на то, каками вышли обе игры, мне теперь интересно что будет ждать в сиквелах, особенно в Reunion, где вернётся Хлоя. а так, не нужный, но душевный Befire the Storm получает от меня с натяжкой 7/10

Playing this game after the first game 'Life is Strange' makes the story so impactful and sad. Spoilers ahead! Getting to play as Chloe and her journey through meeting Rachel makes the first game so much sadder. Rachel truly was a bright light after dark days for Chloe, it feels like Rachel was a lifeline to her and I understand why Chloe was so desperate to find her and why Rachel's death just added so much more pain into her life. Chloe, by far, deals with the most suffering within the two games. I understand Chloe's character a lot more now, I remember thinking she could give David a chance and to be nicer to her mother during Life is Strange and while I still feel that way...Chloe was so young losing her dad and Max days apart from each other that I don't see any other way she could have gone besides ending her life. I would choose her self-destructive behavior over not having her around anymore. Chloe is the strongest character in these games. She kept going, probably living off of pure spite and anger. It was beautiful getting to know Rachel personally after hearing the characters talk so much about her in the original game, she really was full of light and pure energy. Rachel wasn't just a side character to give character development to Chloe, she was a person with her own story and pain. Finding out about her mother and how that story ends...I see why the two of them bonded so quickly. The farewell episode made me cry. I would've burned the whole town if my dad died the same day I find out my best friend was moving away, I can't imagine how painful that must've been for Chloe. I also gained some anger myself, I can't believe Max didn't keep in touch after everything Chloe went through, I'm mad at Chloe's mom for how she handled the David situation and selling the ring, I'm mad at Rachel because she had a relationship with Frank when her and Chloe clearly had a relationship as well. I get Chloe's character, I would be mad at the world too. Brilliant game, I'm so involved in this world now and the creators know how to make me emotionally involved to the point of crying.

Прошла эту часть два раза, но все еще считаю, что Макс больше подходит для Хлои чем Рейч. Но Хлоя и Рейч идеально прописаны в этой истории, две мои фаворитки красавицы, можно ради них перепроходить по 10 раз

The lack of intrigue is the huge negative of the game for me. It has interesting parts but after slogging through the 2nd episode, i decided to drop it. I didn't realize how special the first game is after playing this game. If intrigue and time travel mechanics are the factors that makes you love the first Lis game skip this. But if you want to get to know more about chloe and rachel dynamics, this is great for you. For me it's not. it feels like i'm watching a teen soap opera

Świetne dopełnienie historii. Z "Before The Storm" poznajemy przebieg wydarzeń, który miał miejsce przed fabułą "Life Is Strange", a zatem historię zaginionej Rachel Amber. W tej części wcielamy się natomiast w Chloe Price, co umożliwia nam lepsze zrozumienie jej postaci oraz powoduje dość punkową, buntowniczą oprawę. W grze spotykamy również inne postacie, które odgrywały większą lub mniejszą rolę w oryginalnej części gry. Jeżeli jednak ktoś preferuje przejść "Life Is Strange" w kolejności chronologicznej, zalecam ogranie "Before The Storm" jako pierwsze.
