it's so peak I've stayed in Astral Shift heaven So this is a prequel to Pocket Mirror that you should probably play after said game, although it's a good standalone story as well. Just like PM it's more so of an rpg maker horror, but this game is a bit more than that with the day to day survival and yuri dating simulator, the story is still the main highlight of it all I'd say even though the mystery in this one is a lot more.. obvious, which isn't bad, but I felt like there were a lot of rather samey and very one the nose hints throughout the game, for me it was cool from the many implications related to PM and just.. anticipating how it all will somehow go to ♥♥♥♥. Audiovisually this might be genuinely the best game I've played in that regard it looks like a fairytale.. it sounds like a fairytale.. you simply really feel like you're in a fairy tale. The few distinct art styles are very eye catching and the older 90s anime style for it is really cool as a prequel to contrast the more modern one of PM, and audio wise it's very special how the game is voiced in english and japanese all by the same people, because of the people they chose as voice actors, I mean how cool is that? The few main characters are well written I'd say and their traits and all definitely feel.. very real and there's definitely a different appeal for everyone, with the protagonist Elise being the most intriguing in it all considering her role in PM and.. certain other fella also in PM.. Spoiling is not fun, so there isn't much here overall, but.. it's good trust, good story, good visuals, good audio, very good polish and details

I have to say I completly fell in love with this game. The music and art are simply beautiful, the story is compelling and the characters endearing, or at least interesting. I found myself thinking the dialogues were really enjoyable to read, and the blossoming relationships between Elise and each LI is really well written (still having a huge preference for Leb tho). The gameplay, while not always the most interesting, is in my opinion pretty great. It made for a well blend of story, usual RPG-makers level designs and mini-games that kept me entertained. I do have to say I wasn't always excited for the witching hours (I only really liked the moon puzzle and the final boss in Aziel's grove, the rest I didn't really care about. Murim's grove was fine) but they didn't prove THAT difficult to clear, and were not in my experience overly frustrating. Some of the puzzle were a bit confusing at first, I have to admit. In short, I really encourage anyone to at least give the game a try!

European fairy tale meets 90s shoujo anime. Vibes could not be more on point. Everything stylistic from the art to the music to the voice acting is amazing. Gameplay ranges from simple but silly so it's fun for a little bit, to frustrating. Mild spoilers ahead not really for the plot but how the game works. I wish I had known this going in. Little Goody Two Shoes has a romance system. You get hearts with different characters after you go on dates with them. You have to pick a certain dialogue option to get the heart. The first date you automatically get the heart. Don't be like me and realize super late that you've been going on dates and only getting half the hearts. It's also frustrating because those dialogue options will say one thing and your character will say something completely different. You basically have to save beforehand and just hope your character says the right thing. You might think I'm getting weirdly caught up in the romance mechanic, but to get any non-bad endings (I believe) you HAVE TO reach a certain threshold with a romance option. So you can get to the end of the game, and there's just nothing you can do. You're locked out of most of the endings if you don't focus and romance one partner from the beginning. So then you'd probably be like me and think after I realized the error of my ways, "Oh, I'll just speed through the game and get a real ending." Wrong. First off, you're doing basically everything the same as you did before except the occasional date. The UI is so slow. The "skip dialogue" option is so slow I can still read 90% of it. There's so much walking from point-A to point-B. It's just a boring slog after the first run. You'd think they'd make it easier for the player to experience multiple endings if they're going to make a game with a dozen different endings. But I was left feeling like I got bad end, and it's either live with that, or play the whole game again for 8hrs. So the point of my rant is, please make sure you romance one partner, focus on them throughout, and make sure you're getting your hearts from the dates. I was loving Little Goody Two Shoes for most of my time playing it, but because of that at the end, I'm left with that feeling like I can recognize it was good, but I have a grudge and dislike it now.

AMAZING AMAZING GAME!!!!1! play if you like cute art, cute music, and even cuter characters alongside YURI!!!!! also be sure to always save when you can and focus on ur hunger bar, i soft locked myself on one of the final parts of the game since it costed one hunger..... restarted BUT im having fun and getting more achievements now :D

The game is really beautiful and the details are just amazing. With the story really crafted many interesting plot, but unfortunately the controls and the puzzle difficulty is too hard and really turn me off. Because the game was marketed for 'wlw romance story' and i am here for that, but not all player able clear difficult stages just to able fully enjoy the story, I wish there was difficulty settings for casual player and the try-hard. Still, i love the characters... I hope there's patch update for difficulty settings...

Tem muita coisa que eu amo nesse jogo, mas o que mais se destaca além da história é a arte. O jogo é muito muito bonito, sério que estilo de arte incrível, principalmente a arte de fundo do caminho da casa da Elise até a vila, parece uma caminhada por um livro de contos de fadas. A única coisa que eu tenho pra criticar é a falta de uma dublagem em português, porque poxa, o estúdio é de Portugal! Bem que podia ter uma versão em português né? Não precisa nem ser BR! (mas se fosse eu também não ia reclamar, só dizendo) E acho importante dizer que: AS PERSONAGENS PRINCIPAIS SÃO TODAS SAFÍCAS :D E meio nada a ver, mas foi por causa desse jogo que eu percebi que um amigo meu era machista, e que eu não queria mais falar com ele, então tem isso também. O poder yuri desse jogo revela machos escrotos, viva!!

Ein Prequel für Pocket Mirror. Man spielt als Elise, diese lebt allein in einem kleinen Dorf und ihr größter Wunsch ist es, reich zu sein. Sie erfährt von "Ihm", der Wünsche erfüllt, doch sie muss ihm drei Dinge darbringen. Natürlich ignoriert sie absolut alle Warnsignale und wundert sich in den Enden, in denen sie das durch zieht, über die Konsequenzen. Das Spiel ist im Gegensatz zu Pocketmirror kein RPG Maker sondern ein Mix aus Dating Sim, Mystery und irgendwo auch Lebensim, da man auch Geld verdienen muss, um sich Essen und Gegenstände zu verkaufen. Wichtige Stats sind dabei der Hunger, Leben und geistige Gesundheit. Fällt eins davon auf null ist es Game Over. Hinzu kommt noch, dass die Leute glauben, dass eine Hexe für all die Geschehnisse, die sich in dem Spiel ertragen, Schuld ist. Man muss also auch noch aufpassen, dass man sich nicht verdächtig macht. Kurz gesagt: Der Tag besteht aus Minispielen, um Geld zu verdienen, Verabredungen mit deiner gewählten Partnerin (es gibt drei) und Story Events. In der Nacht ist man dagegen meist mit der Beschaffung der "Geschenke" beschäftigt, was sich über eine Woche zieht. Man kann aber auch, wenn man am ersten Tag mit dem entsprechenden Gegenstand interagiert, einem noch ganz anderen Mysterium auf dem Grund gehen. Es gibt viele verschiedene Enden, die man an sich unterteilen kann in (ohne zu spoilern): - "Gute" Enden - "Schlechte" Enden - "Etwas geht am Ende mit den Geschenken schief" Enden - "Elise findet die Wahrheit heraus" Ende Die Handlung ist interessant, auch wenn man an mancher Stelle Elise Intelligenz hinterfragt, da sie tatsächlich von den Entwicklungen in den schlechten Enden überrascht ist. Manche mögen sie wahrscheinlich nicht direkt, sie wirkt teilweise arrogant, zickig und herablassend, doch es steckt mehr dahinter und sie wächst einem doch ans Herz. Die Mädels, die man daten kann, sind auch alle solide. Einziges Problem: Die Namen mancher Charaktere. Lebkuchen. Grüne. Apfel. Eins zu eins diese Worte. Warum? XD Um es jetzt aber abzuschließen, Handlung und Charaktere sind interessant. Der Artstyle und die Musik sind gut und erinnern an anime aus den 90ern. Kurze Sätze sind auf Englisch und Japanisch synchronisiert und es wurde ein guter Job gemacht. Hat man Pocket Mirror gespielt, weiß man bereits wie es ausgeht, aber es macht dadurch nicht weniger Spaß.

The visuals and sound are exceptional, and the plot is interesting—though it is a bit annoying not to be able to skip certain dialogues even after having already seen them; all in all, however, it is an great game.
