A must play after finishing the base game, made me love it even more than i already did. The lore that it adds is quite needed to understand the whole game and the fact that you can see things of the first game in this is cool as hell. 10/10

"Outlast: Whistleblower DLC" takes place before the main events of the main story of Outlast and continues even after its conclusion. It is a must-have expansion that you should play after finishing the main storyline. It follows the story of a different character as mentioned in the game's description section. One thing I forgot to mention in review of my Outlast main game is the performance and optimization part. The game runs at locked 62 FPS like many UE games back from the PS3/Xbox 360 and the early PS4/Xbox One eras. However, you can always use Lossless Scaling Frame Generation to play at 120FPS or more. So yeah this story DLC is fully worth it during any sale. Thank you. The ending of the Whistleblower DLC is much more satisfying than the base game and concludes the overall story. But yeah, they didn't show what happened after that software engineer uploaded the Murkoff footage file and thereby the story ends with a final black screen cut.

A rare instance where the DLC is better than the original game. My heart still races when i get to the Eddie Gluskin part.

(Spoilers ahead) this DLC has made me speechless. I feel it was scarier and creepier than the actual game. actually seeing how MURKOFF treated Eddie in the start with the Morphegenic Engine. and how Jeremy Blarie treated Waylon. especially with how he immediatly put him to that screen and chair. The game felt more immersive than the actual story with Miles. I dont know why... Eddie was such a good but infuriating villain . this game was perfect to the bone. I love how you can see the church/chapel burning down, Trager dead from Miles then Miles at the end most likely dead or near death with the WALRIDER inside him. JT Petty is such an amazing writer. and i just love this series so much.
