One of the best Star Wars games ever made to date, but a MASSIVE F U to Disney for this EULA that made me sign to play the game. They can only wish and dream of making something as special as this game, or the first KotOR. I hope they go bankrupt in my lifetime.

STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords to jeden z najlepszych RPG osadzonych w uniwersum Gwiezdnych Wojen i znacznie mroczniejsza kontynuacja pierwszego KOTOR-a. Wcielamy się w Wygnanego Jedi i trafiamy do galaktyki wyniszczonej wojną, w której Zakon Jedi praktycznie przestał istnieć. Historia koncentruje się na Mocy, konsekwencjach naszych decyzji oraz znacznie bardziej niejednoznacznym konflikcie pomiędzy jasną i ciemną stroną. Największą siłą gry są fabuła, dialogi i towarzysze. Kreia jest jedną z najlepiej napisanych postaci w całym uniwersum Star Wars, a rozmowy z nią potrafią całkowicie podważyć klasyczne spojrzenie na Jedi i Sithów. System walki opiera się na zasadach RPG znanych z pierwszej części – rozwijamy postać, zdobywamy nowe moce, wybieramy wyposażenie i budujemy własną drużynę. Technicznie gra mocno pokazuje swój wiek, a końcówka została wyraźnie przyspieszona przez problemy podczas produkcji. Warto grać z The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod, który przywraca sporą część wyciętej zawartości. Mroczny, dojrzały i znakomicie napisany RPG, który pokazuje Gwiezdne Wojny z zupełnie innej strony. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Изначально вторая часть мне не особо нравилась из-за затяжного начала и пролога. Да и каких-то персонажей странных, типа бабульки и Аттона, который уж очень похож на коллегу из первой части. Но потом игра нормально разгоняется и играть становится интереснее. Но опять же сюжет первой мне нравится больше, поживее и загадочнее, чем во второй. Возможно из-за того, что здесь обильный негатив во всем. Джедаев стало мало, планеты, которые посещаем менее дружелюбны и самое название "Лорды Ситхов", тоже показывает, что они здесь в главной роли. Теперь появилась и проработанная система влияния на спутников. Ваши поступки и слова напрямую влияют на характеры членов вашей команды. Вы можете развратить их и склонить на Тёмную сторону или, наоборот, наставить на путь Света. Оказывается верным и каноничным выбором пола персонажа будет женский, этого я не знал. От этого немного разнится, кто с нами будет из спутников, соответственно меняется пол персонажа спутника. В связи с этим игру пришлось пройти дважды, за обе стороны силы. Сама боевая система стала немного удобнее. Хотя основа осталась прежней, играть стало приятнее. Я бы лично отметил сложность игры в сравнении с первой, а особенно драку с финальным боссом. Это просто кошмар, может я не так собрался или прокачал что-то не то, но с Сионом и Нихилиусом проблем вообще не было. Также стали сложны и многие квесты, отдельно стоит отметить запертую дверь на складе дроидов. В детстве я умудрился пройти её без интернета.

Avant toute chose, installez le TSLRCM (The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification). Là, le vrai jeu commence. Est-ce que c'est le meilleur jeu Star Wars ? Peut-être pas mais pas loin. KOTOR II à un peu près les mêmes défauts que son aîné à l'exception de l'écriture très nettement au dessus dans cette suite Obsidian oblige. KOTOR I et II sont des incontournables à faire une fois pour tout fan de Star Wars qui se respecte.

a flawed masterpiece. even with the restored mod it very much isn't a complete experience and it shows in places, but the narrative is incredible, the characters are fascinating, and the villains are freaky. if it had been properly finished it may have surpassed the original, but as it stands it's a worthy entry into the series and still one of the best Star Wars experiences out there.

Been thinking about replaying this game for nearly a decade since my last attempt when it completely broke and softlocked my save. Even without mods the game is much healthier on a technical level thanks to a "modern" patch by Aspyr. With all the mods outside of needing to set your monitor to 60 fps to avoid a bug it works really well with far fewer glitches and issues compared to Kotor1. Compared to Kotor 1 it has more varied gameplay and abilities as well as a better paced story. Throw in all the restored content and I think the story becomes much better than its predecessor. Though it still suffers from an overly long ending mission of killing billions of trash mobs before fighting the actual bosses. Highly recommended give it a go. not like any other god tier star wars RPG will come out anytime soon. I used most of the below mod list. Though you can easily just have the restored content mod and be done. Still a great game after all these years. Playing though with the restored content mod. when i first launched it was not playing sound over HDMI, I found that changing the sound in windows to 24 bit vs 16 bit worked, needed a restart plus removal of HDMI and re plugging in to work but had no issues since. U[pdate: might just be an issue for me but when i launched it today the sound had gone again! All i did this time is remove the HDMI cable and reinsert it (from the PC) it worked again so guess I'll have to do this each time, no biggie i suppose
