The Callisto Protocol
In this narrative-driven, third-person survival horror game set 300 years in the future, the player will take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos. To survive, Jacob must battle his way to safety to escape Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath the surface of Callisto.

As a horror fan i enjoyed this game very much. I have no idea why it has mixed reviews.plays well,no stutters,nice little story behind it all. Nice fight mechanics.. i found it all quite nice .

Это хорошая игра, и в неё весело играть. Весело наматывать чертей на вал, весело п*здить их дубинкой и отстреливать тентакли. Графика и звук на уровне, а мувмент персонажа и лицевые анимацияии вообще а*уй, на голову выше, чем в том же ремейке Dead Space. А вот за что можно пожурить игру, так это неоправданное обилие вентиляционных шахт с узкими проёмами, через которые нужно ползти и протискиваться, протискиваться и ползти. Подышать, потом опять ползти, ещё чуть-чуть протиснуться и наконец-то снова ползти. Общее впечатление это не особо портит, но когда перепроходишь игру, то начинаешь откровенно зевать. Если подытожить, то берите, особенно по скидке. Особенно если любите жанр survival-horror, тут всё что надо есть. 7.5/10

Análise The Callisto Protocol foi muito criticado no lançamento, o jogo estava com bastante problema de otimização e acabou tendo uma nota baixa. Uma coisa com jogos que entendi é que se você segurar o hype e esperar, depois de algum tempo, a experiência melhora bastante. Bugs são corrigidos e diversos aspectos acabam sendo aprimorados, além do preço que cai. Pontos positivos O game para mim rodou liso, sem nenhum travamento. A historia é bem interessante e te prende. A mecânica do jogo é bem legal e funciona. Os gráficos são uma belezura. Pontos negativos A dificuldade e sobrevivência, o jogo se propõe a ser um survival horror, mas, jogando na dificuldade normal, em nenhum momento senti falta de munição ou de itens de cura. Muito pelo contrário, em algumas situações, estava até descartando recursos para liberar espaço no inventário. Pouca tensão, diferentemente de jogos como Resident Evil 1, 2 e 3 ou Silent Hill, que conseguem transmitir uma sensação constante de medo e apreensão, aqui achei a experiência bem mais tranquila. Faltou aquela tensão de não saber o que está esperando na próxima esquina. Variedade de inimigos, esse é outro ponto que deixa a desejar. Ao longo de todo o jogo, a impressão é de que existem apenas uns quatro modelos de inimigos, o que acaba tornando os confrontos um pouco repetitivos. Veredito The Callisto Protocol é um bom jogo e vale muito a pena. Tem uma história interessante, gráficos incríveis e mecânicas de combate que funcionam bem. Apesar de alguns problemas, principalmente na dificuldade e na variedade dos inimigos, tive uma ótima experiência. Recomendo a todos! 09/10

The game and story itself I had no issue with. I enjoyed it for what it was but the issue I did have was the fact that my saves, both auto and manual, are completely gone after launching it for probably the fourth time to play. I guess if you want to play it wait for a sale and definitely make back ups after every session. Otherwise I would pass on it and watch someone else play it.

This game has the atomsphere similar to Dead Space. Happened on a station in SPACE where everything goes haywire when some madman try to be god. Nevertheless, it had some unique melee combat which is different from Dead Space. This causes having to skim on the bullets as there is limited inventory space and so forth. This makes me melee more than performing shooting as you will be wasting bullets as it is needed to fight the final boss and the mini bosses where you simply cannot melee. Another problem i found it has is the "telekinetic" ability. It is simply not enough..... This limit my game play to mostly silent kill or melee kill which is 90 percent of the time... Storywise it is ok. One standout is the graphics which is very very good. Hopefully one has a good pc whien picking up this game. I rate it 7.5/10 as i did enjoy myself with it.

this game is okay honestly, i would recommend play it if you like dead space its kinda like a watered down version.I really enjoyed the weaving system its really satisfiying and the combat is too once u start to get it the story is okay could be better lot of potential one thing i dont like is how jacob interacts with the worlds even it cut scenes looks janky and werid but who cares about that over all good game would play idk why ppl hate maybe cus its amd and thats the card i have so it might run worse for others
