The first Monkey Island game I've ever played. My personal favorite part is the sword fighting in Chapter 3.

This was the first game I picked out for myself as a child - back when Kmart sold PC games. The music, the voice acting, the art style... the whole charm of the game drew me in immediately. Guybrush is one of the most loveable protagonists of any video game series and I've loved playing through all of his adventures, but The Curse of Monkey Island will always be my favourite. The first time I played, it took me 3 months to finish the game after working through all of the puzzles and seeking desperate guidance at times from my parents. Now I can speed run it in 30 minutes, but I still come back just to feel the piratey nostalgia.

Atışmaların birkaç tanesi güzel güldürdü. -Finalinin pek meh olması -İlk iki oyuna göre bariz bir ton düşüşü. Kötü değil ama fazla çocuksu gibi. Tek kelimeyle muazzamdı diyebilirim. Seride ki üçüncü oyun sanırım ve seriyi yapan adam bu oyunda olmamasına rağmen nefis iş çıkarmışlar. Disney kalitesinde ki animasyonlar acayip ilgi çekici iken oynanış kısmında da türün gerektirdiğini sonuna kadar kullanmış. Hatta öyle ki bulmacalar yine yer yer beyin yakan cinsten. Araya serpiştirilen gemi savaşları ve sözlü kılıç düelloları da çok güzel tempo değişikliği yaratmış. Oynamadan geçmeyin dediğim oyunlardan.

This game holds the most memories for me out of all of the Monkey Island games. I remember putting the CD-ROM into the tray and feeling transported to a witty, satirical pirate world. This is the third part of the Monkey Island series and the first to be non-pixel animated. I find myself returning back to this game to play every time over the other ones. It has all of the loveable characters you remember from the first two games (Guybrush, LeChuck, Elaine, Wally, etc) including an interesting continuation of the story and beautiful dialogue. The pirate insult fights are a highlight. I would recommend this game to anyone- LucasArts did an amazing job with this game.

I really like the monkey island franchise, the comedy in this game is gold, and the puzzles usually aren't too difficult. I just wish they'd port the other games in the series to mac so i can relive those games as well.

The Curse of Monkey Island ist insgesamt echt gut geworden. Ich hatte das Spiel irgendwann vor etlichen Jahren schonmal angefangen, aber hatte es damals weder bewusst noch komplett durchgespielt. Deswegen war ich froh alle Monkey Island Teile als Bundle im Sale zu bekommen. Optik und Präsentation passen, die Dialoge sitzen und Guybrush zieht gewohnt clever sein Ding durch. Der Comic Stil gefällt mir gut, die Vertonung ist gelungen und es ist ein würdiger dritter Teil der Story. Die Rätsel sind größtenteils mit Logik und etwas Aufmerksamkeit zu lösen und bieten eine gute Beschäftigung für die grauen Zellen. Die Schauplätze sind interessant und es macht Spaß sich Schritt für Schritt vorwärts zu rätseln. Die Charaktere sind okay, auch wenn sie eine eher untergeordnete Rolle spielen. Einziger Dämpfer ist das Ende: Der Vergnügungspark am Schluss ist ziemlich schnell abgefrühstückt. Ein paar Locations, kurz die notwendigen Sachen erledigen und das war’s schon. Das wirkt im Vergleich zum Rest des Spiels etwas dünn. Hat aber trotzdem durchweg Spaß gemacht.

It's one of the most famous point-and-click adventure games of all times; full of humor and puts you in a good mood. A classic, by all means!

MI is one of the best in adventure games, and for me this episode is the 2nd best in the MI series. My best is the MI2: LeChuck's Revenge
