Been meaning to play this for quite some time, and I’m glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the story and the choices along the way, especially knowing that some of them could have led to very different outcomes. My first playthrough was all about making the decisions that felt right at the time. Now it’s time to go back, explore the other paths, and see just how differently things could have turned out. Definitely looking forward to another playthrough.

Until Dawn is such a fun horror experience. The story does a great job of keeping you invested, and I really enjoyed how much your choices can change what happens quite literally. Make one different decision, and the ending events are completely changed. The characters are memorable, the atmosphere is creepy without relying entirely on cheap scares, and there are plenty of moments that had me genuinely stressed about the decisions I was making. I especially love games where the choices actually matter, and Until Dawn does a great job making you feel like your decisions have consequences. It also has a lot of replayability since there are so many different outcomes to discover, even if the base ending stays the same. My only real complaint is that some parts can feel a little slow, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. I’m also genuinely sad about Hayden’s passing. She brought so much to the original. Amazing performance. Still, I’m excited for Until Dawn 2 and hoping it can capture the same magic. Definitely recommended for horror and choice-based game fans.

I really liked Until Dawn when it came out. And while I thought the characters walked slowly, it never infuriated me or broke my immersion. However, for whatever reason, the characters walk like snails in the remake. For a game that wants you to play it multiple times, this was a horrible decision. I think they should have added an option for characters to run or walk faster in the remake, not done the reverse! I genuinely don't understand this. Why on earth would Mike, for example, stop running when you take control of him in the middle of a freakin' chase scene and start walking like he's enjoying nature and has an hour or so to kill? I wish there was a mod to fix this.

There were occasional stutters and glitches here and there, but other than that, the game was superb for what it was. A few moments kept me on the edge of my seat, so I can’t complain.
