Love this game to death but boy does the community make me want to commit violent crimes. First of all, its impossible to play this game as a new person because the quick play warriors make you feel bad for not being a pro on day one. Don't even think about queing up for a QP match if you dont have atleast 20 hours on a single character. God forbid you decided you want to have fun and play a chill match on an easy character with your friends. The chances of running into a teammate who will throw the game is significantly higher than getting a teammate who actually tries to win. Also, I feel like the majority of people forget this game is team based. You need to care about your team, be aware of where your team is, and what works best FOR your team. You will get some nasty people on your team who will somehow have more deaths than the whole team combined and yet they will still refuse to swap (I'm looking at you BP, Spidey, and Iron fist mains). If you value your mental health and wellbeing just don't touch the game. Don't even install it on your computer. The marvel rivals community has turned me into an angry person who lacks sympathy and patience. Don't be like me and just play a diferent game lol.

Im Marvel Partner and i will give you my feedback after 2000 hours on multi account : I love this game but we have to talk about Matchmaking :) First time in my life seeing a game where you can be on a winning streak in Celestial on one account, and at the same time on a losing streak Plat rank on another account :) funny no ? Some good players and myself have noticed a usual pattern of completely rigged matchmaking. When you are good, (good scoring, aim, etc) you get auto-filled with casuals / bad players / new players vs smurfs / higher ranks, or better players ; the game forces 50 / 50 wr. - All matchmaking is manipulated (Acc LVL, smurf, main char vs your counter, boosted support, etc...) - The entire game is scripted on multiple levels. - Hit registration when playing hitscan is obviously controlled to balance the game and make sure to condition your skill level during the game lol. If your pro CS/Valorant/Apex/OW, just play Hela for hours, you will notice it. - You will notice that at certain key moments, hit reg doesn't hit supports to make the game more playable for them. Yeah, maybe they also change hitbox at crucial moment sometime..like Overwatch did at some point. - Miss inputs / server lag, etc., in short, the game's optimization is a nightmare ! RTX 4090 SUPRIMX / 9850X3D/ 64GO RAM / 360 FPS / HZ Game, i can notice every miss shots, or every manipulated one, same about input. You can miss everything as Hitscan, but when you switch Luna/dagger/invi in the same game on the same server, weirdly all inputs are responsive, functional, and hit reg too. Like by magic, but if you have the misfortune to play starlord or hela, it's over, half of the actions are smoothed out with a controlled effect, not to mention hitreg which only counts half the time lol Strangely enough, in my last 20 games, people who leave the game have been on my team 20 times and never on the enemy team (surely a coincidence). Funny to see that mostly, player with 2-9 ratio is always on my team too :p Smurf Magick, Psylock and stuff, are mostly on the enemy team. Since im good and already counted as a smurf. Aside from that: the gameplay and the game are fun, you just shouldn't play competitive. They desperately want to create cycles, some people rank up at certain times while others derank, forcing the smoothing and conditioning of ranked, placement games are obviously fake too. You can't talk about a skill issue when you finish all your seasons in Celestial/GM and on a smurf the game forces a losing streak in Platinum :) And here I am only talking about matchmaking, not to mention the fact that supports are way too strong, but most players know that except support mains ^^^^^ It's also the first time I've seen NA servers more stable with 100 ping than EU servers with 25 ping :o Update: I've noticed that at the start of every season, the inputs are responsive, aim feels clean, etc. But as the player base drops off, weirdly enough, the servers start lagging, they get super unstable, and on top of that, everything feels delayed in-game (even the aim gets floaty). It's been the exact same pattern for 10 seasons now, and according to my friends, they have the exact same feeling. My guess is they spin up/rent a ton of servers for season launches, and once the player count drops, they scale back down, leading to server overload. It feels awful. So maybe > US > More player and this explain why it feel less laggy than EU server with 25 ping :o *To everyone saying I have 1,000 or 2,000 hours in the game so my opinion doesn't count: honestly, that's a good thing. You're getting a review from someone with serious playtime, which is exactly why you should take note. Like I said, I love the game as a whole—it's just the matchmaking that I hate to see.* After that review i think they will remove my partner haha

Um jogo que tenho várias horas jogadas, mas que sempre que alguém me pergunta se vale a pena jogar, a minha resposta sempre é NÃO VALE A PENA. Jogo mal otimizado, repetitivo até nos "novos" modos, a ranked um lixo, comunidade tóxica de gente frustrada, sem contar no fracasso da NetEase tentarem implementar mais habilidades, mas que só virou uma bagunça absurda. A NetEase afirma que não usam EOMM, mas claramente não é o que acontece, basta observar o histórico da maior parte dos jogadores pra perceber que tem umas vitórias/derrubadas de ranque forçadas, basicamente se você subir um pouco logo vai ser derrubado pra bem menos de onde você tava, te forçando a jogar muito mais se quiser voltar pra onde tava e nem vou comentar dos bots que a NetEase também diz que não usa, mas que vários outros jogadores já presenciaram em suas partidas, inclusive eu. O jogo é muito mal otimizado, que a cada nova temporada a NetEase continua varrendo o problema pra debaixo do tapete e escondendo atrás dos grandes glúteos de alguma nova skin de qualquer personagem, por exemplo os mapas das primeiras temporadas que são absurdamente pesados e não importa se seu PC é da xuxa ou da Nasa, vai travar do mesmo jeito, o que é uma vergonha pra uma empresa grande dessas, entupida de dinheiro, ainda não ter resolvido esse problema. O que falar da comunidade? já teve muita gente legal, gente que de fato tava lá pra se divertir, mas hoje o número de gente tóxica e com problema de ego supera! o mesmo tipo de gente que quando, por exemplo, a composição do time não é do jeito delas (ou sei lá mais o que se passa na cabeça dessa galera), elas decidem que é hora de trollar e entregar o jogo (sim, em ranqueada)... e essas pessoas não são banidas, elas saem impunes pra continuar estragando o jogo de mais gente. Sem comentários pra maior parte da comunidade de d03nt3 que usa das piores ofensas contra jogadores independente do time, e o ban que eles levam é uma suspensão de chat de no máximo 1 dia... parabéns Marvel por implementar voice mod, não muda NADA, boa parte continua com ofensas de r4c1sm0, m1s0g1n1a e vai de buraco a baixo independentemente, já que essas pessoas continuam saindo "impunes" e isso encoraja elas a manterem o mesmo comportamento tóxico de sempre, elas sabem que não vão perder a conta. Então... nem percam o tempo de vocês com esse jogo, eu poderia escrever mais, mas isso já basta e a bomba da NetEase não se importa com feedback, apenas se importa em ganhar mais dinheiro ao invés de ser mais severa com gente b4b4c4 e concertar o jogo.

Начинал с релиза нулевого сезона и закончил аккурат к старту десятого. TL;DR: Игра была по-настоящему веселой на релизе. Сейчас там остались лишь потничи, которые играют в квиках на корову. Когда рейтинговые игры проще чем квики, это полный провал. У игры есть серьезные проблемы: 1. Новичкам тут не рады. В квиках отдыхают высокоранговые игроки, а матчмейкинг в рейтинге подбирает вам игроков, которым придется играть не на своих ролях (и периодически таким игроком будете вы). Все это сделано намеренно, чтобы ваш общий винрейт ни в коем случае не стал выше 55%. Ну, а если вы дважды проиграли в квиках, то зачилльтесь и поиграйте с ботами. Не хотите? А вас никто не спрашивает, за выход штраф или бан за бездействие. 2. Игре жизненно необходим рол лок как в Овере. Хотя бы в рейтинге. Без этого вы просто упретесь в несбалансированную трипл сап композицию и увязните в болоте. А еще в последние 10 сек матча ваш хилер обязательно переключится на танка Стрэнджа для портала, оставив вас без хила. В 90% случаев вы, жидко пернув, умираете на выходе 3. Баланс гaвна. Бессмертные персонажи, нечестные абилки, несправедливые усиления. Ростер большой, но в игре вы будете видеть регулярно одни и те же лица. Какие-то персонажи вообще мертвы к моменту написания (светлая память Альтрону). 4. Вам не получится играть за любимого персонажа и получать удовольствие, если он не в мете. Потренировать нового в квиках тоже не выйдет, противник тут же сделает контр пик, на котором у него лорд или выше. Все ради победы, ничего ради фана. 5. Штрафы за вредительство и смурфинг смешные, наказаний считай нет 6. Разработчики попытались внести изменения в геймлпей с помощью переработки киллер фичи - тимапы. Однако, полезные были убиты постепенными нерфами, а остальные были бесполезны с самого начала Грустно за игру, потому что в ней было все, что нужно от геройского шутера. Уникальные механики, вариации геймплея, карты и режимы. Но сейчас играть уже больше не весело.

All in all I think this is a fun game, as a die-by-the-sword Marvel fan and ex-Overwatch enjoyer this game scratched that itch for me when it dropped. If you like hero shooters, and chances are you like the MCU then this is for you. Many of the draw backs you'll see in other reviews are much the same issues that come with any hero shooter, or any team based game really: Other players suck, and balancing is bad. I've played hero shooters from TF2, to Battleborn, to OW, and even a few MOBAS like Smite. Balancing patches, nerfs, buffs, these things come and go. Its simply the nature of the game. Your favorite character is going to get nerfed, its all there is to it. And it's not a personal attack on you, at the time of this review there are 53 playable characters, Penni just got a gutted nerf, so I just play someone else. Your character will be strong one patch, nerfed the next, balanced on another, then buffed again. Such is the nature of an ongoing hero shooter. The community is a mix of hero shooter players and people that watch the MCU so they wanna play Iron Man and Spider-Man. That mixed bag is going to get frustrating when the enemy team is locked in and knows how to flank, separate, and take up space while someone on your team is going 3-14 ,but won't switch because they just watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day and he's their favorite. This is what ranked is for, it will be a slog getting through the metal ranks, and it isn't easy, but ranked is there to help weed out the casual players from the ones that are locked in. The devs are pretty generous imo when it comes to cosmetics, which is the only thing you buy in the game besides the battle pass. You will get free credits/skins a lot from challenges, missions, the battle pass etc. I spent $20 on the game 2 years ago and between all the credits you can earn in-game I've been riding that ever since. If you do decide to buy the battlepass, it is yours to keep. Even when the season ends you can always go back and get anything you missed when it was active, which is nice as it doesnt incentivize you to only play Rivals to finish the pass and get your money's worth like other games. The game gets a lot of flack for being a "gooner game", because they have a few skins for characters in swimsuits or are a little risqué. This is just going to come down to personal preference really, I can only speak for myself, but me personally a skin is just a skin. I might sound like a robot, but it's truly just that black and white to me. Captain America has a wolf skin, that's just what the skin looks like. Captain America as a wolf, cool. Same with Penni's Scarecrow skin. Yep that's Penni's mech, as a scarecrow. Awesome. A beach skin is just that, thats what Invis would wear going to the beach. Thats just what that skin looks like, it doesnt go any deeper than that to me. Maybe its because I've read plenty of 90s comics, maybe I'm desensitized idk, but that's how I see it. I don't have some sort of chimp like activation in my brain, a skin is a skin is a skin. Thats just my my 2 cents. There are actually "gooner games" out there like Stellar Blade or Dead or Alive, this is not one of them. That being said if someone wants to tug one off to this game, thats their prerogative. I don't see how that effects the game or me personally. I did a lot of rambling in this, but my overall message is if you like shooters, and you like Marvel, it doesnt get much better than this. Turn off voice chat, mute text chat, sit back and go 0-7 on Spider-Man because at the end of the day who gives a sh*t. 8/10

Aktuell (Season 9.5) würde ich Marvel Rivals keinem Neueinsteiger empfehlen. Das Matchmaking ist teilweise wirklich die Hölle. Laut den Entwicklern soll zwar kein EOMM verwendet werden, aber ganz ehrlich, genauso fühlt es sich an. Entweder man überrollt die Gegner komplett oder man wird selbst komplett auseinandergenommen. Wirklich ausgeglichene Runden sind eher selten. Dazu kommen ständig diese komischen Sieg- und Niederlagenserien, bei denen man irgendwann das Gefühl bekommt, dass die Matches absichtlich so zusammengestellt werden damit man immer weiterspielt. Gerade als Anfänger ist das besonders schlimm. Man trifft viel zu oft auf erfahrene Spieler oder Smurfs und bekommt kaum eine vernünftige Chance das Spiel und die Helden erstmal in Ruhe zu lernen. Die neuen Team-Ups sind teilweise auch komplett unbalanced und das Gleiche gilt für einige Helden. Manche Kombinationen sind einfach viel zu stark und entscheiden gefühlt schon vor Beginn der Runde, welches Team gewinnt. Positiv ist natürlich, dass das Spiel kostenlos ist und es eine große Auswahl an Helden gibt, die sich auch wirklich unterschiedlich spielen. Die Grafik ist top, die Maps sehen gut aus und es kommen regelmäßig neue Inhalte. Pay-to-win ist es zum Glück auch nicht. Unter all dem steckt eigentlich ein richtig gutes Spiel und ich hatte damit auch schon sehr viel Spaß. Aber das Matchmaking und die aktuelle Balance machen einfach extrem viel kaputt. Deshalb kann ich es zumindest im Moment keinem Neueinsteiger empfehlen.

My favorite game. Everything about it is perfect: interesting gameplay (psylocke's аss), captivating story (venom's аss), the lore of individual characters (black cat's аss) and their history (invisible woman's аss), the interface (emma frost's аss) also pleasantly surprised me, watching (black widow's аss) is a pure pleasure. I highly recommend it to absolutely everyone.
