They demand you verify your already verified email before allowing you to log into your level 17 character, stating that you cannot play level 20+ characters without a verified email. It says to enter your email, but provides no text entry field to do so. The "verify email" button says it will open a webpage, but does nothing when clicked. And if you try to contact support, they require a monthly subscription before allowing you to submit a ticket. If you post on the forums about it, they mark your post as spam. They clearly don't want new players.

Being a Jedi is cool, but being a Sith and making terrible decisions is even better. Great stories, memorable characters and an absurd amount of content for a free MMO.

This game is the best non-WoW MMORPG available today, and it's not even close. No other MMO can say it has fully voiced cutscenes with Mass-Effect style dialogue trees that actually make a difference (even if isolated to the quest with no overarching consequences) in the end of each mission. The subscription is so user-friendly it's insane, with permanent access to every expansion released during, and prior to the purchase of a sub, with certain subscriber perks being kept after it ends because it marks you as a "Preferred" player. The devs put heart, soul, and love into the game, and its community. Is the economy pretty bad? Yeah, and the majority of crazy cool stuff is on the shop, but you can easily make a good looking character using the GTN (player-run flea market essentially). The community is still running somewhat strong with most areas (especially early-game) having an active chat with conversations going round-the-clock, even if some of the chats are a little... quirky. The combat, movement, skills/abilities, and art direction are all standard but enjoyable MMO design. With friends it's even more fun, although the lack of coop-able DLC missions is a MASSIVE missed opportunity. Just for the class stories it's worth a play, and in my opinion worth a one-time sub. Give it a shot!

Great story, but the lack of communication about German voice acting is becoming a serious problem I want to make one thing clear first: I really enjoy SWTOR, especially its story. The characters, dialogue and storytelling are a big reason why I still enjoy the game. That is exactly why I find the situation regarding the German voice acting so frustrating. The German voice acting for the newer story content has now been missing since Game Update 7.8, which was released on December 9, 2025. That is more than eight months ago. Back in October 2025, we were told that some German and French recordings were still missing, but that the team was working to have them ready for 7.8. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Since then, another story update has already been released with 7.8.1, followed by 7.9, and now Game Update 8.0 has even been revealed. So my question is honestly: How long is this supposed to continue? I understand that recording and implementing full voice acting takes time. I don't expect it to happen overnight, and I understand that there can be problems with scheduling, recording and working with voice actors. What I find difficult to accept is that after more than eight months, there is still no meaningful update about the current status or even an estimated timeframe. The biggest problem for me is therefore not simply the delay. It is the lack of communication about the delay. If there are problems, I can understand that. If it takes longer than expected, I can understand that too. But when new story content continues to be released while the German voice acting remains unavailable, and there is still no clear information about when it will be added, it becomes increasingly difficult for me to understand where this is going. I have been playing SWTOR because I love its story, and the German voice acting has always been an important part of that experience for me. But if this continues for another year or even several years, with more and more story content being released without German voice acting, then I personally have to question whether it will still be worth continuing to play the game in the future. I don't want to stop playing SWTOR. I genuinely enjoy this game. But I also don't want to reach a point where I have to choose between playing new story content in English or simply not experiencing the new story at all. I am not asking for the German voice acting to be finished tomorrow. I am asking for honest and meaningful communication. Please tell us what the current status is. Is the German voice acting still being worked on? Is it definitely still planned? What is causing the delay? And is there at least an estimated time frame? If there is no exact release date yet, that's fine. But after more than eight months, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for more than "we will let you know when we have an update." I love SWTOR's story. I want to keep playing it. But please don't let the German voice acting become something that is postponed indefinitely while new story content continues to arrive. I just want to know what is happening and whether I can realistically expect to experience future SWTOR stories in German again.

if you have an old account and want to come back after years, just forget about it... they set an arbitrary email @swtor.trial.com that you have no access to and around lvl 20 they ask you to verify your email... so you can't verify and they won't let you enter the game anymore. changing your email to an actual one doesn't work, since they again send the verification of that change to the account you can't access. you need the customer support to change the email for you, but as FTP user support ingame is disabled and i never got any response to my mail, as the game is technically FTP but EA doesn't care about you. i tried to set up a new email and new account, but the steam client remembers your account and tells you "nope, you have played under a different account"... so you have to install the stand-alone client to make that work. luckily you can just copy the steam directory into the new installation and save yourself the trouble of downloading the 60GB again. overall a lot of hassle to go through for a dated game. and you have to hope, you never need customer support...

Não consigo logar no jogo, fiz uma conta, recebi o e-mail para verificar a conta, tudo certo, porem no momento de fazer o login e começar a jogar sempre aparece a mensagem de que o Usuário ou a senha estão incorretos, acabei de criar a conta, não tem como estar incorreto.
