I started playing around 2018, and one of my favourite things about it is that I can take long breaks without falling behind. I have accumulated 3.2k hours on the standalone launcher at the time of writing this review. I've bought every DLC because I want to support the game that has been with me for 8 years and counting. Classes have the flexibility to take on different roles, and the story moves at a comfortable pace. You can also ignore parts of the game, whether it's exploration or story content, and come back to them whenever you feel like it. If you want a chill MMO with no pressure or expectations, I highly recommend giving this game a shot. I've grown deeply attached to it over the years and met some amazing people along the way. This game is my first love, and it'll remain one of my obsessions for years to come. I'd yap more but that would require a whole novel.

У меня не было проблем с подключением или черными экранами... В принципе и игра то хорошая.... Если брать топ то WOW,Teso,FF14,GW2, первые два только за наличие РУ языка можно отдать первые места, а вот понять последних двух не могу... C финалкой ок, простительно, у них как бы и кириллица не запрещена, и есть альтернатива причем очень хорошая, но вот с GW2 и анет мне не понятно, типы максимально неадекватные люди в этом плане, (п.с. причем в GW1 есть ру) д и на выходе игры когда им задали вопрос о локализации игры ОНИ НАЗВАЛИ СНГ игроков токсичными... Не хочу как то распыляться на эту тему, если токсичные то ок, так лично я и буду... Не могу рекомендовать игру в которой издатель ведет себя как малое дитя... Д и по онлайн у GW2 среди всех этих топов самый низкий, берите дальше в долг у китайцев на разработку GW3, не злорадствую но будет крайне весело если она провалится.

Trotz der Jahre immer noch ein absolutes Meisterwerk! Mit mittlerweile über 5.500 Spielstunden – rein über den ArenaNet-Launcher – habe ich diesen Meilenstein auf dem Tacho und bereue keine einzige Minute. ArenaNet hat hier ein MMORPG geschaffen, das seinesgleichen sucht. Der PvE-Inhalt ist fantastisch: Egal ob packende Storys, wunderschön gestaltete offene Welten, fordernde Fraktale oder die epischen Raids und Angriffsmissionen – es gibt immer etwas zu tun, ohne dass man in ein toxisches Zwangsrapid gerät. Das klassenlose Lootsystem und die horizontale Progression (kein ständiges Gear-Reset durch neue Add-ons) machen es extrem entspannt, das Spiel in seinem eigenen Tempo zu genießen. Ein riesiges Highlight ist für mich das WvW (Welt gegen Welt). Die großangelegten Schlachten, bei denen Server oder Allianzen aufeinandertreffen, Burgen eingenommen und Taktiken geschmiedet werden, sorgen auch nach tausenden Stunden noch für adrenalingeladene Momente und epische Fights. Was dieses Spiel aber wirklich unvergesslich macht, ist die Community und die Menschen, die man trifft. Über die Jahre haben sich hier echte, coole Freundschaften gebildet, die weit über das Spiel hinausgehen. Man hilft einander, zieht an einem Strang und feiert gemeinsam Erfolge. Wer ein tiefes, faires und unglaublich lebendiges MMORPG sucht, macht mit Guild Wars 2 alles richtig. Klare Empfehlung!

an MMO that doesn't run away from you if you take a break, burn out or something like that. And when you do return back to the game after a long break, Ready to carry on whatever you were doing or to experience something new. While realizing the very gear you had before taking a break is still effective in whatever you were doing. That's guild wars 2 to you. Breaking the mold when it comes to some of the typical MMO mechanics and features you see out there. Just figure out what you want to do when you have levelled your first character and off you go wherever it is. Even tho there is a lot of content in the game, just remember that content is not going anywhere, it doesn't disappear into thin air. Take your time and enjoy the game. Get into a guild, find some buddies and go head first into a danger or something. GW2 offers enough opportunities for that. Don't mind the hour counter on steam. i have too many hours in the game through the non-steam client. I recently started running the game from steam (with anet login), ever since i swapped to linux. deemed it a bit easier to do that way.

Played the entire free version to completion before touching a single expansion: level 80, full Personal Story, zero mounts, zero elite specs. This is not a demo. It's a genuinely complete game. The free tier gets you all 9 professions, max level, the full story, PvP, dungeons, fractals, and hundreds of zones. In 48 hours I finished the story and still had only touched about half the map: 123/303 tasks, 218/486 waypoints, 72/226 vistas. There's an absurd amount to do before you'd ever need to pay. What works: Combat feels fluid and current for a 2012 game, with 10 skills, weapon swapping, dodging, and no forced rotation Dynamic events make the world feel alive instead of quest-marker soup XP for exploring, not just killing; climbing to a vista actually matters Horizontal progression means your gear stays relevant, so you're not chasing a treadmill Community is unusually helpful, cooperative by design rather than competitive Personal Story is fully voiced with real cinematic weight What's rough (in the free version): Only 2 character slots Tight bag space and trading post restrictions Core classes feel "fine"; elite specs (paywalled) are where the real class identity lives Story ends on a clear "now go buy the expansions" note None of that feels like manipulation though, it feels like an honest first chapter. The expansions go on sale constantly, so if you wait, catching up is cheap. Bottom line: Play the free version first. All the way through. Then decide. You'll already know the answer.

Excelente jogo, é um MMO que não te pune por ficar sem jogar, tem uma progressao muito boa tbm.. As expansoes adicionam muita coisa a gameplay e quem curtir, recomendo as expansoes tambem. É um MMO para quem trabalha, da pra jogar no tempo livre, fins de semana e nao existe isso de ficar pra tras.. O pvp é bem dificil, sendo sincero, os cara que tu encontra sao uns maniacos com os melhores itens e viciados no jogo que te matam em um combo kkkkk mas da pra perder tempo e jogar de boas, fazer a historia, liberar o mapa, farmar itens etc
