Underrated game. Not perfect, but it has a lot of charm and is a very good lightweight RPG with an interesting world and beautiful scenery. Compared to similar games, i.e. Fallout, it is smaller and scope but is much more efficient. It does more with less, and is considerably less weighed down by bloat and other jank. The quirky satirical humor that is showcased in the trailers is much less present then it seems, and is mostly hit or miss when it is. Although moments where the game uses dry humor instead can be really funny, and I hope they lean more into that and taking the world more seriously, because there is a lot of potential here.

I ended up not paying for the damn patch after all. Back in 2023, I wrote I ain't paying for a patch in my review of the original game. Turns out I was right to wait. I now have the Spacer’s Choice Edition without paying the $9.99 upgrade price. Still not a fan of how this was handled, especially when you compare it to how CD Projekt Red is handling The Witcher 3 Remastered. Existing owners get the Remastered version for free, and even players who never bought the DLCs get them included. Shame on you, Microsoft and Obsidian. At least I got the damn patch for free in the end.

Obsidian fixed the remaster this year. Better QoL and expanded leveling makes it more than a decent choice even if it's not the best choice.

Very cool RPG. Interesting side-quests and simple, yet gripping plot And DLCs are very cool

an amazing hidden gem in terms of atmosphere alone. I never thought I would look back at this game so fondly with nostolgia.

This game was so bland and boring that I got to the final mission of the main quest and I dropped it, completely bored and devoid of caring about any of it. I almost always finish a game, even if it's terrible because usually there's something for me to care about, but this? I wouldn't care if an Asteroid smashed into any of the planets I'm supposed to save. I care so little I won't even dignify this with a descriptive review. It's just plain boring. I am aware a patch has come out since I last played that adds some QoL from the sequel, but again, this game is so mediocre that I can't even justify watching the 60gb download to try it out.

It's pretty good, but the quests and greatness from Fallout New Vegas aren't really here. I really don't think the story has anything interesting to say, but it's a fun ride.

Really tried to like it but I just found it bland and boring. We get it, capitalism is bad, but so are this game's graphics, gunplay, exploration (or lack of) and dialouge. The game is repetitive, unpolished and just shallow. Avoid at full price and only play if you have the time to spare. This is no Fallout NV
